Olkejuado High school started in the year 1965. This is not only the oldest school in the greater Masai land but also the largest. The current enrolment stand at 1070 students. The school is reputed for good results hence the alumni are spread in all works of life globally, Rt. Rev Jeremiah Taama Bishop of Anglican Church of Kajiado, Dr. Solomon Rianto Mpoke Director KMERI, Prof. Khashoda Moeli of Daystar University........... The list is endless.
The school faces challenges which include lack of big equipped library, multipurpose Hall, adequate accommodation, water, this is a dry area and the bore hole water is inadequate, playing fields, staff quarters, fencing the school which has over 100 acres but only fenced 10, and general repair of existing facilities like the laboratories, staff quarters, dinning hall, the works needs of the school today stand at 10 million Kenya shillings.
